Race Day Preparation and Information

Packet Pick up:

Packet pick up will be Friday, August 14, 2020 at Wasatch Running (8946 S State St in Sandy) from 10am-8pm. If you are not available to pick up your own packet, someone else may pick it up for you. They will need a photocopy of your driver's license (or the original). There will be NO race day packet pick-up.

Buses/Start:

Buses will load from Alta Canyon Sports Center (9565 S Highland Drive) beginning at 5:00 am. The last buses will leave at 5:15 am. There is only one wave of buses going to the start line. The race will start at 6:30am.

Clothing Drop:

There will a clothing drop before the race starts. All clothing should be contained in a plastic bag. We encourage you to use the bag given to you at packet pick-up as your clothing drop bag. Please make sure your bib number is displayed on the outside of your clothing bag. Clothing can also be dropped at the first 2 aid stations. Clothing dropped at aid stations should also be contained in a bag with your bib number. Please do not put valuables in your clothing bags. We will not be responsible for lost or broken items left in clothing drop bags.

Aid Stations:

Aid stations will be located at mile 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 12.

Finish:

Invite your family and friends to come to cheer you on through the finish line! There will be a "family festival" near the finish line, which will provide your support team with activities, entertainment, and snacks while they wait. After 13.1 miles, come cool off at the swimming pool at Alta Canyon Sports Center, which will be open (free of charge) for all runners and their friends and family!

Medals:

Every participant will receive a custom finisher's medal.

Restrooms:

Porta-potties will be available at the start and finish areas as well as each aid station.

Medical Assistance:

The Sandy Fire Department and Alta View Hospital will provide medical assistance at all aid stations, as well as the start and finish line.
